Maiori

---

If you’re staying in Maiori itself, these are the hotels I’d put on your shortlist. I’m basing this on current guest ratings, review volume, location, and the overall type of stay rather than treating “best” as a single objective ranking.

🌊 Best hotels to consider in Maiori

• Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro - Best for views & a more romantic stay. Perched above town, with a pool and striking sea views. Tripadvisor currently shows 4.4/5 from 550 reviews.
• Hotel Club 2 Torri - Best for panoramic sea views. A good choice if the view from your room matters; it has a rooftop pool and restaurant.
• Hotel Sole Splendid - Best for beachfront convenience. Right by Maiori beach and the main promenade, making it easy to walk everywhere. Booking.com currently has it at 8.6/10 from about 950 reviews.
• Hotel Panorama - Best for central location. On the waterfront in central Maiori, convenient for restaurants, shops and the beach. Tripadvisor currently rates it 4.4/5.
• Reginna Palace Hotel - Best traditional full-service option. Central location and a more classic hotel experience.
• Hotel villa Pandora - Best for a quieter, intimate atmosphere. It's outside the busiest central stretch, between the sea and the lemon-covered hills; rooms have sea views.
• Hotel San Francesco - Good all-round 4-star choice. Near the waterfront and currently rated 4.2/5 on Tripadvisor.

My shortlist by type

If you want…	Consider
🌅 Amazing views	Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro / Club 2 Torri
🏖️ Beach + walkability	Hotel Sole Splendid / Hotel Panorama
❤️ Romantic & quieter	Villa Pandora
🏨 Classic full-service hotel	Reginna Palace
💰 Good value	Hotel Panorama / Sole Splendid

One particularly interesting alternative is Hotel Pensione Reale: Booking.com currently shows a 9.4/10 guest score from roughly 445 reviews, and it's right on the Maiori waterfront.

One thing I really like about Maiori: unlike Positano or much of Amalfi, the town is relatively flat, with a long beachfront promenade, so staying near the Lungomare makes getting around substantially easier.

If you tell me your dates + budget per night + whether it's a couple/family, I can narrow this down to 3 hotels that fit your trip, including current prices and availability.

What time of year are you planning to visit?

What is your approximate nightly budget , or are you looking for specific amenities like private beach clubs or free parking ?

Who are you traveling with (e.g., a romantic getaway, family vacation, or solo trip)?

Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro, Hotel Panorama, Reginna Palace Hotel, Hotel Sole Splendid, and a few others consistently rank among the best in Maiori (a quieter Amalfi Coast town known for its relatively long sandy beach compared to nearby spots like Positano or Amalfi).

Here’s a breakdown of the standouts based on traveler reviews from Tripadvisor, Booking.com, and similar sites (ratings and rankings can shift slightly with seasons and recent feedback):

Luxury / Boutique Highlight

• Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro (often the top luxury pick in Maiori): A small 5-star (or high-end 4/5-star equivalent) cliffside boutique hotel with panoramic Mediterranean views, an infinity pool, terraced botanical/succulent gardens and lemon groves, spa access, and stylish rooms (many with hand-painted tiles and ocean-view balconies/terraces). Guests frequently praise the dramatic setting, food, and intimacy.
Note: Access involves an elevator plus a significant number of steps, so it’s not ideal for limited mobility. It’s among the more expensive options.

Strong Overall / Best-Value Favorites

• Hotel Panorama: Frequently ranks at or near the top on Tripadvisor. A well-located 4-star property near the beach (private beach access available, sometimes extra), with a rooftop pool/terrace, good breakfast with views, friendly staff, and clean rooms (some renovated). Excellent for exploring Maiori on foot and as a base for the coast. Guests highlight the location, views, and convenience.
• Reginna Palace Hotel: Classic 4-star seafront hotel with a private beach (extra charge often applies), outdoor pool set in gardens, restaurant, and central promenade location. Solid choice for relaxation with easy beach access; popular for its setting and amenities.
• Hotel Sole Splendid: Highly rated 4-star option with strong reviews for cleanliness, sea views, spacious rooms (including family options), breakfast, and proximity to the beach/promenade. Reliable and frequently recommended.

Other Highly Rated Options

• Hotel San Francesco (or San Francesco Amalfi Coast Hotel): Excellent guest scores (often 9.4–9.6 range), praised for location, service, and overall experience.
• Hotel Villa Pandora: Intimate property with sea views and a more boutique feel.
• Tenuta Solomita, Casa Blu Cobalto, Hotel Club Due Torri, and various well-reviewed B&Bs/suites (e.g., around Corso Reginna): These often score very high (9+ on Booking-style sites) for personal service, views, parking, or value, and suit travelers seeking something smaller or more residential.

Quick Tips for Choosing

• Beach/central convenience → Panorama, Reginna Palace, Sole Splendid, or Acquamarine-style options.
• Views + luxury atmosphere → Botanico San Lazzaro (or cliffside spots like Due Torri).
• Quieter/value or family-friendly → Check recent renovations, private beach fees, parking availability (often limited/extra on the coast), and mobility access.
• Maiori is generally more relaxed and less crowded than Positano or Amalfi, with good bus/ferry links for day trips.

Prices vary widely by season (higher in summer), room type, and views. Check current availability, exact ratings, photos, and recent guest reviews on Tripadvisor or Booking.com, as properties renovate and feedback evolves. For the absolute latest or specific needs (e.g., pool, parking, kids, or budget), filtering by dates on those sites is best. Enjoy Maiori—it’s a great Amalfi base!
