If you're looking for a really good stay in Lerici, I'd focus on these:

• Piccolo Hotel del Lido - Best for a romantic beach stay. Right on the beach, with a small, intimate feel. It currently has a particularly strong guest rating (4.6/5 from 172 reviews in the local listings), and Booking.com also highlights it for couples and breakfast.
• Hotel Florida Lerici - Best all-around choice. Excellent location near the waterfront and town, with a 4.6/5 local rating and 727 reviews. It is also among the hotels most frequently recommended by Booking.com for Lerici.
• Doria Park Hotel - Best for views and atmosphere. Perched above Lerici, making it appealing if you want panoramic Gulf of Poets scenery rather than being directly on the beach. It has a 4.6/5 local rating.
• Europa Grand Hotel - Lerici - Best for a panoramic view + parking. The hotel says it overlooks Lerici and the Gulf of Poets, has parking, and offers a free shuttle to the center and beaches from April through September.
• Hotel Byron - Best for a more upscale seaside feel. It's a 4-star hotel on Via Biaggini, and recent reviews specifically mention sea-view rooms and terraces.
• Lerici Hotel San Terenzo - Good if you'd rather stay in the quieter San Terenzo section, directly by the beach.

Standout Features: Located in neighboring San Terenzo (just a short, flat walk along the bay to Lerici center), it sits right next to a crystal-clear swimming beach. Why Choose It: Features immaculate rooms with balconies and a fantastic first-floor terrace restaurant overlooking the water.

High-Value Panoramic & Boutique Stays

For travelers prioritizing breathtaking cliffside views, exceptional local hospitality, and modern comforts without a full luxury price tag, these 3-star gems consistently punch well above their weight.

The Vibe: Polished, modern, and friendly, feeling closer to a 5-star experience. Standout Features: Perched just above the historic center, offering some of the most dramatic, sweeping views of the Gulf from its terrace and balconies. Why Choose It: Incredible breakfast and dinner spreads, free parking (a massive luxury in Lerici), and highly attentive staff.

The Vibe: Quiet, elegant, and surrounded by peaceful scenery. Standout Features: Hillside location offering astonishing sea views, free area shuttle transfers to help with the incline, and a generous morning buffet. Why Choose It: A great choice for travelers arriving with a car or on a road trip, offering quiet surroundings, comfortable beds, and smooth logistics.

The Vibe: Cozy, family-run, and full of character. Standout Features: An art deco design style situated in a lovely small cove near the town center. Why Choose It: Renowned for superior, warm service led by a local family, exceptionally reliable air conditioning, and a phenomenal breakfast buffet.
