Bertinoro

Bertinoro is a small hill town, so the best stays tend to be charming hotels, B&Bs, and agriturismi rather than large luxury hotels. Based on current guest ratings and reviews, these stand out:

My shortlist

• Hotel Panorama - The strongest choice if you want to stay in the historic center. It's right on Piazza della Libertà, with panoramic views toward the Adriatic. Booking currently shows about 9.2/10, while Tripadvisor shows 4.9/5.
• la cana dolce - A more intimate rural/boutique-style stay, surrounded by greenery. Booking currently shows 9.4/10 from 150+ reviews, with guests particularly mentioning the host, breakfast, tranquility and countryside setting.
• Albergo Colonna - A good option if you want central Bertinoro and a traditional hotel rather than an agriturismo. Booking currently shows around 8.9/10.
• Ristorante Farmhouse Al Colle - Worth considering for a countryside/agriturismo experience, particularly if food and a rural setting are priorities.
• Residence Villa degli Ulivi - In Fratta Terme, useful if you'd prefer a quieter stay with a more residential feel.

If I were choosing based on the type of trip:
Historic town + views: Hotel Panorama
Romantic/countryside: la cana dolce
Traditional central hotel: Albergo Colonna
Rural/food-focused: Farmhouse Al Colle

If you give me your dates, number of guests, and approximate budget per night, I can narrow these down to the best available options.

The best-rated hotels in Bertinoro are Hotel Panorama, Albergo Colonna, and Agriturismo 7 Colonne — all offering charming stays with excellent guest reviews.

Hotel Panorama stands out as one of the top (often the highest-rated) options in Bertinoro, followed closely by agriturismi (farm stays) and a modern hotel near the thermal area.

Bertinoro is a small hilltop town in Emilia-Romagna (the “Balcony of Romagna”), known for panoramic views, medieval atmosphere, wine, and nearby thermal spas (Fratta Terme). Most highly rated places are intimate 3-star hotels, B&Bs, or agriturismi rather than large luxury resorts. Ratings draw from Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Trivago, Kayak, and similar sites (typically 2024–2026 data).

Quick notes on the top picks

• Hotel Panorama — Guests repeatedly praise the breathtaking views (hills to the Adriatic), central yet peaceful spot, spotless rooms, friendly hosts (often mentioned by name), and solid breakfast. It’s the strongest pure “hotel in town” choice.
• Agriturismo al Colle — Emphasizes wellness (spa, pool, sauna/hot tub options) and authentic local food in a green setting. Good for a more immersive countryside experience.
• Hotel Fontanelle — Newer/modern feel, reliable comforts, and proximity to Fratta Terme thermal facilities and Indiana Park. Popular with those combining a stay with spa time or nearby attractions.

Other solid options

• Smaller high-rated stays such as Novecento, Parrot House, or various private apartments/villas often score 9.5+ but have fewer reviews.
• For thermal/spa focus, look at properties around Fratta Terme (e.g., Grand Hotel Terme della Fratta / Allegroitalia).
• Nearby Cesena or Forlì expand choices if you need more options or chain hotels.

Tips: Bertinoro is compact and walkable in the historic center; a car is useful for agriturismi, countryside, or day trips (Cesena, Rimini, Ravenna, Mirabilandia). Book ahead for peak seasons (summer, wine events, weekends). Check current prices and availability on Booking.com, the hotel sites, or aggregators, as rates vary (often €80–200+ depending on season and room type). Many places include breakfast and free parking.

If you have specific preferences (budget, spa, family, pet-friendly, exact dates, or focus on views vs. countryside), I can refine the suggestions further!
