Caprarola

---

If you’re staying in Caprarola, Lazio, the accommodation scene is mostly small B&Bs, apartments, agriturismi, and one notable lakeside hotel rather than large luxury hotels. Current reviews point to several particularly strong options.

My shortlist

• La Bella Venere - Lake Resort - best for a lakeside stay. It’s on Lake Vico, with a garden, terrace, and restaurant; Booking currently shows about 8.6/10 from 300+ reviews.
• La Valle di Vico | Agriturismo - Bed and Breakfast - best for countryside/relaxation. An agriturismo surrounded by greenery, with lake views, garden and pool facilities. Tripadvisor currently lists it at 4.9/5 from 250+ reviews.
• Bed & Breakfast LA ROCCA - best for staying in the historic town. A small B&B in central Caprarola, with very strong guest feedback; Booking currently reports around 9.3/10.
• Bed & Breakfast Le Bacette - best for a peaceful B&B. It has a garden, private pool and free parking, and currently scores around 9.4/10 on Booking.
• B&B Buongiorno Caprarola - best highly rated small B&B. Recently renovated, with a garden and shared lounge; Booking currently gives it 9.6/10 from roughly 75 reviews.
• Il Vicolo bed and breakfast - good intimate option in town, with particularly strong current guest feedback.

For a first visit, I'd look at La Bella Venere if you want the lake/resort atmosphere, or La Rocca / Buongiorno Caprarola if you want to be immersed in Caprarola itself. Villa Farnese is one of the main reasons to stay in town, and central properties make visiting it especially convenient.

If you tell me your dates, budget per night, and whether you want a pool/lake view/romantic setting, I can narrow this down to 3 options and check current availability.

Caprarola (Lazio, near Lake Vico and the famous Palazzo Farnese) is a small historic town, so accommodation options are limited and lean toward agriturismi (farm stays), B&Bs, and guesthouses rather than large hotels. The strongest-reviewed places combine proximity to the Palazzo Farnese, Lake Vico views or access, quiet settings, and strong hospitality.

Top recommendations

Here are the consistently highest-rated options based on Tripadvisor, Booking.com, and similar platforms (ratings and review counts as of recent data; always check current availability and prices):

Other solid options

• Cottage Beach Vico — Positive feedback for the lakeside/resort-like feel and hosts (smaller review volume).
• B&B Buongiorno Caprarola, Casa Checca e Casa Maria, La Casina, or similar apartments/holiday homes — Often score very high (9.5–9.8 range) for cleanliness, location, and value; good if you prefer self-catering.

Practical notes

• Location trade-offs: Stay in the historic center (e.g., La Rocca or Il Vicolo) for easy walking to Palazzo Farnese. Choose lake-area places (La Valle Di Vico or La Bella Venere) for views, nature, swimming, and a more relaxed vibe (short drive to the palace).
• Caprarola itself has few full-service hotels. For more amenities, pools, spas, or luxury, look a short drive away in Ronciglione or Viterbo.
• Prices typically start in the €80–150+ range per night (varies by season, room type, and breakfast inclusion). Many places offer free parking and Wi-Fi.
• The area is popular for day trips from Rome (~1 hour) and for exploring Lake Vico, Etruscan sites, and nearby towns.

For the latest availability, photos, and exact guest reviews, check Tripadvisor or Booking.com directly and filter by your dates. If you have preferences (e.g., lake views, pool, budget, pet-friendly, or family rooms), I can refine the suggestions.
