Gangi

---

If you mean Gangi, Sicily, it’s a small historic hill town, so the best places to stay are mostly charming B&Bs, agriturismi, and small guesthouses rather than large hotels. The official local tourism site lists several accommodations in town.

Here are some strong options:

• A-MURI b&b - Best for a stylish stay in the historic town. It has a 5.0/5 rating from 65 reviews in current local listings, and the tourism site lists it at roughly €70-100/night.
• Santa Lucia B&B - Great for atmosphere and location. It's right in Gangi's historic center on Via Santa Lucia; the tourism site lists about €50-70/night.
• B&B Il Galleto R. - Good value in the old town. Current listings show 4.9/5 from 72 reviews and around $74/night.
• Agriturismo San Pietro - Best if you want countryside and a farmstay feel. It currently has 4.8/5 from 62 reviews; Tripadvisor lists it at 4.9/5 from 63 reviews.
• Agriturismo Capuano - Good choice for a rural Sicilian experience. Tripadvisor currently lists it among the leading Gangi accommodations, with 4.7/5 from 199 reviews.
• Hotel Miramonti - The straightforward traditional-hotel option. It's on Via Nazionale and is one of the established hotels actually in Gangi; current local listings show 4.3/5 from 226 reviews.
• Bed and Breakfast "Del corso" - Convenient central option, on Corso Umberto I, with a current 4.8/5 local rating.

For a first visit, I'd look particularly at A-MURI, Santa Lucia, or Agriturismo San Pietro, depending on whether you want historic-center charm or countryside. I wouldn't treat that as a ranking-it's simply matching different accommodation styles to different travel preferences.

If you tell me your dates, budget per night, and whether you want a romantic/historic, luxury, or countryside stay, I can narrow it down to 3-4 options and check current prices/availability.

Agriturismo San Pietro, Baglio Tramontana, B&B Il Galletto R., and Casale Villa Rainò stand out as the top-rated options in and around Gangi, Sicily (a small hilltop town in the Madonie mountains, Province of Palermo). Gangi is compact with limited large hotels, so most highly rated places are agriturismi (farm stays), B&Bs, or boutique guesthouses. Ratings come primarily from Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Kayak, and similar sites (typically out of 10 or 5 bubbles).

Top picks in/near Gangi

• Agriturismo San Pietro (often ~9.7/10 or 4.9/5): Frequently the highest-rated. A family-run farm stay a short drive (~2–3 km / few minutes) from the historic center, set in nature with mountain/valley views. Guests praise the exceptional hospitality (owners Salvatore, Angela/Teresa, etc.), cleanliness, spacious rooms, and farm-to-table breakfasts/dinners using organic/local products (e.g., cheeses, honey, produce). Peaceful and authentic Sicilian experience; great base for exploring Madonie villages. Free parking and Wi-Fi common. Ideal for those wanting rural immersion over pure town-center location.

• Baglio Tramontana (~9.3–9.4/10): Historic 17th-century baglio (courtyard complex) right in the historic center (Via Castello). Combines accommodation with a well-regarded restaurant/pizzeria offering local Sicilian dishes, grilled meats, and award-winning pizzas, plus views. Modern comforts in a traditional setting; pet-friendly options noted. Strong for central location and dining on-site. Part of a Sicilian hotel group expansion.

• B&B Il Galletto R. (~9.4/10 or high 4s): Central B&B with mountain/panoramic views (including toward Etna in good conditions), free parking, Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes in rooms. Guests highlight the excellent breakfast, friendly host (Nina often mentioned), cleanliness, and value. Pet-friendly; convenient for walking the centro storico.

• Casale Villa Rainò (~8.9–9.0/10 or 4.3/5): Historic country house/villa a bit outside town (~1–1.5 miles / short drive) with outdoor pool, garden, restaurant serving Sicilian cuisine, and peaceful setting amid Madonie scenery. Good for relaxation, families, or those wanting a pool and more facilities. Free parking/Wi-Fi; pet-friendly options.

Other solid options

• Hotel Miramonti: More traditional hotel-style (often around 8.0–8.5), modern/clean rooms, convenient for short stays and walking to the centro storico. Good value and frequently listed among available options.
• Central apartments/B&Bs like Casa e Putia, Al Centro, La Spiga, or Casa Vacanze options: Often score in the high 8s–9s for location, views, and authenticity in renovated historic buildings.
• Nearby (e.g., Geraci Siculo, ~few miles): Hotel Donna Vì gets strong mentions for spa facilities and nature setting if you’re open to a short drive.

Tips: Gangi is a Borgo più bello d’Italia (one of Italy’s most beautiful villages) with narrow streets—central stays put you in the heart of the atmosphere, while agriturismi offer quieter rural experiences. Book ahead for peak seasons; prices often start roughly in the €70–150+ range per night depending on dates/type (check current availability). A car is useful for the surrounding Madonie area.
