Borgobrufa Spa Resort (Adults Only), Boutique Hotel Al Grappolo d’Oro, and Le Tre Vaselle Resort & Spa (also known as Borgo Tre Vaselle) rank among the top hotels in Torgiano, Umbria, based on recent guest reviews from TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Kayak, and similar sites.

Torgiano is a small medieval wine town near Perugia and Assisi, famous for Lungarotti wines and olive oil. Options lean toward boutique hotels, spa resorts, and agriturismi (farm stays) rather than large chain hotels. Here are the standouts:

Top Recommendations

• Borgobrufa Spa Resort (Adults Only) — Consistently the highest-rated luxury option (around 4.7/5 on TripAdvisor with 2,800+ reviews; ~9.1–9.3 on other platforms). Located on a hill in nearby Brufa with panoramic views toward Assisi and Perugia. Highlights include an excellent spa (indoor/outdoor pools, saunas, salt cave), suites (some with private whirlpools), attentive service, and dining (including a Michelin-starred restaurant). Ideal for couples seeking relaxation; it is adults-only and pricier.

• Boutique Hotel Al Grappolo d’Oro — Highly praised 3-star boutique property right in the center of Torgiano (often 4.7/5 on TripAdvisor; ~8.9–9.3 elsewhere). A restored 19th-century mansion with comfortable rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool and garden with vineyard/hill views, free parking, and an outstanding breakfast. Very convenient for walking to the Wine Museum and Olive Oil Museum; many guests note excellent value and friendly service.

• Le Tre Vaselle Resort & Spa (Borgo Tre Vaselle) — Historic 17th-century property in/near the town center with indoor and outdoor pools, a spa (including wine-themed treatments), garden, and restaurants focused on Umbrian cuisine and local wines. Ratings typically fall in the 8.0–8.7 range. Strong on atmosphere and location for exploring the area; some older reviews note variability in maintenance or dining, though many still recommend it for its character.

Other Strong Options

• Poggio alle Vigne and Il Poggio Delle Ginestre — Well-rated countryside agriturismi/country houses with pools, gardens, and views of vineyards or olive groves. Scores often 9.1–9.2; great for a quieter, authentic Umbrian experience.
• Agriturismo Il Divin Casale, Agriturismo La Montagnola, and similar farm stays — Frequently score 9+ for hospitality, pools, and rural setting a short drive from town.
• Hotel Ristorante Dante — More affordable mid-range choice with solid reviews, a restaurant, and practical amenities.

Tips: Book ahead for peak seasons (spring–fall), especially for spa access or pools. Torgiano is compact and walkable in the center, but a car helps for surrounding countryside, Assisi, Perugia, or wine estates. Check current rates and availability on Booking.com, TripAdvisor, or hotel sites, as prices vary by season and demand. Many properties emphasize local wine, olive oil, and Umbrian hospitality.
