Albergo Al Sole, Hotel Villa Cipriani, and Progress Country & Wine House stand out as the top-rated options in Asolo (the charming hilltown in Veneto’s Prosecco region, often called the “Pearl of the Veneto”).

Asolo is small, so the selection of hotels is limited but generally high-quality, focusing on historic charm, views, and hospitality rather than large resorts. Rankings draw from consistent guest feedback on Tripadvisor, Booking.com, and similar sites (ratings typically 9.0–9.5/10 or 4.5–5/5 bubbles).

Top Recommendations

Albergo Al Sole (5-star)
Located right on/near the main square in the historic center (Via Collegio 33). Guests rave about the excellent location and views, attentive staff (owners Silvia and Elena frequently praised), elegant rooms, on-site parking (a big plus in Asolo), and the restaurant La Terrazza with its terrace views. Breakfast is consistently highlighted as excellent.
Ratings: Around 9.3/10 (Booking) and 4.6/5 (Tripadvisor, often ranked among the top or best value). Ideal for a central, walkable stay with a refined boutique feel.

Hotel Villa Cipriani (5-star)
A historic 18th-century villa (once associated with poet Robert Browning) just a short walk from the town center (Via Canova 298). It offers elegant rooms with antiques, exposed beams, and local craftsmanship; beautiful seasonal gardens; an outdoor pool/hot tub with panoramic views; spa/wellness facilities; and a strong restaurant. Past guests have included celebrities and royalty.
Ratings: Around 9.2/10. Perfect for a luxurious, peaceful retreat with gardens and facilities. Part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Progress Country & Wine House (4-star / wine resort)
Set among vineyards and olive trees a short drive/walk from the center (Via Palladio). It functions as a wine-focused agriturismo with nine distinctive apartment suites, organic wine and olive oil production/tastings, a restaurant, and scenic views.
Ratings: Often 9.5+. Excellent for a countryside immersion experience in the Prosecco hills, with a more resort-like or farmstay vibe.

Other Strong Options

• Hotel Asolo (3-star) — Comfortable, good-value choice at the foot of the hills with panoramic outdoor areas, solid breakfast, and parking. Frequently well-reviewed (around 4.6/5 or 8.8–9.0). A practical base.
• Country House Barone D’Asolo — Highly rated (often 4.8/5 or ~9.0) for its grounds, pool, hospitality, and peaceful setting.
• Villa Trieste M — Villa-style stay with pool, strong breakfast, and a homey feel (ratings often ~9.3).

Smaller B&Bs (such as B&B Ca’ Cinel Asolo or similar) can also score very highly for personal service and value if you prefer something more intimate.

Quick Tips

Asolo is compact and walkable once you’re up the hill, with limited parking in the historic center—properties with on-site parking are advantageous. It’s an excellent base for exploring the Prosecco hills, nearby Palladian villas, and day trips toward Venice (roughly 1 hour away).

Prices vary significantly by season and dates (luxury options often start higher; check current rates). For the latest availability, reviews, and photos, search Booking.com, Tripadvisor, or the hotels’ official sites. Preferences for luxury vs. value, central location vs. countryside, or specific amenities (pool, restaurant, parking) will help narrow it further.
