Stilo

---

If you mean Stilo, Calabria, there are several charming small properties rather than large traditional hotels. Based on current guest ratings and recent listings, I’d look at these:

• PIAZZADUOMO B&B STILO - 4.9/5. Right on Piazza Duomo in the historic center; a particularly convenient choice for exploring Stilo on foot.
• B&B Palazzo Stillitano - 4.8/5. A restored historic palazzo in the old town, with views over the surrounding valley. Booking.com currently shows a 9.1/10 guest score from 90+ reviews.
• B&B Piccola Dimora Villa Candido - 4.6/5. In the center, with spacious rooms and balconies; a good option if you want a more residential feel.
• L'Orto degli Ulivi - rated 4.9/5 on Tripadvisor, with guests particularly praising the hospitality and peaceful setting.
• Agriturismo Casato Ruggero - currently showing 9.5/10 on Booking.com, although based on a small number of reviews, so I'd treat that score cautiously.

For a first visit, I'd focus on Piazza Duomo B&B or Palazzo Stillitano if being in Stilo's historic center is important. Stilo is a small hill town, so staying centrally makes it much easier to explore the churches and old streets without driving.

If you tell me your dates, number of guests, and approximate budget per night, I can also check which of these actually has availability and compare the current prices.

Nearby options (if you want more amenities or beach access)

Stilo itself is inland/hilly. For pools, larger facilities, or closer sea access, look a short drive away (roughly 7–20 km / 10–30 minutes):

• Areas like Monasterace Marina, Riace, Guardavalle, or Roccella Ionica.
• Examples: Il Partenone Resort Hotel (Riace area), various beach resorts or agriturismos with pools/sea views.

Tips

• Book early in peak season (summer) as inventory is limited.
• Most places emphasize personal hospitality, local tips, and Calabrian food.
• Check recent reviews and exact availability/prices on platforms like Booking.com, Tripadvisor, or Kayak, as small properties can change.
• Stilo is known for its Byzantine heritage (especially the Cattolica), Norman castle, and scenic valley setting—central B&Bs put you right in the middle of that.
