Treviso

---

If you mean the best places to stay in Treviso itself, I’d focus on these, balancing current guest ratings, location, and overall character. Booking.com currently shows Hotel Rovere at 9.1/10, Hotel Scala at 9.2/10, and several central properties in the 8.5-8.9 range.

My shortlist

• Maison Matilda - Treviso - Boutique feel in the historic center; a good choice if atmosphere and being central matter.
• Locanda San Tomaso - Charming, intimate B&B right in Treviso; particularly appealing for a romantic or relaxed stay.
• Villa Zane - Elegant villa outside the immediate center, with a quieter, more upscale feel. Tripadvisor currently lists it at 4.8/5.
• Hotel Rovere - One of the strongest conventional-hotel choices: Booking.com currently gives it 9.1/10 from 642 reviews, with particularly positive comments about breakfast and staff.
• B&B HOTEL Treviso - A practical modern option with a good location and generally strong reviews; Tripadvisor currently lists it among Treviso's leading value options.
• le camere di Palazzo Bortolan - Central and atmospheric, particularly if you'd rather stay in a historic building than a conventional hotel.
• Antica Dimora Stucky - A quieter historic property with a strong guest reputation; Tripadvisor currently shows 4.8/5.
• Hotel Carlton - Convenient if you're arriving by train: it's near Treviso Centrale and the historic center.

If I were narrowing it to three:
Hotel Rovere for a traditional hotel, Maison Matilda for boutique character, and Locanda San Tomaso for charm and location.

If you tell me your dates, budget per night, and whether you want luxury/boutique/central/parking, I can narrow these down to the best 3-5 options and check current prices.

🏨 Key Considerations

• Boutique charm vs. full-service: Treviso is rich in boutique B&Bs with historic character (Locanda San Tomaso, Trevisi27), while larger hotels like Best Western Premier BHR offer spa and dining facilities.
• Budget range: Options start around US$88 (B&B HOTEL Treviso) and go up to US$181 (Little Garden).
• Location: Most B&Bs are in the historic center, ideal for walking tours. The Best Western is slightly outside Treviso, better for those with a car.
• Atmosphere: Choose boutique B&Bs for intimacy and design, or larger hotels for convenience and amenities.

⚠️ Practical Tips

• Seasonality: Prices rise in summer; autumn and spring offer better deals.
• Availability: Boutique B&Bs often have limited rooms—book early.
• Transport: If you plan to explore Veneto (Venice, Padua), staying near Treviso’s train station or choosing a hotel with parking is wise.
• Hidden costs: Check for city tax (usually €1–€2 per night per person).

• For luxury boutique: B&B Barberia or Little Garden.

Would you like me to prepare a map of these hotels with walking distances from Treviso’s train station, so you can quickly see which ones are most convenient for your trip?

For a charming stay in this Venetian gem, the best hotels in Treviso generally fall into two categories: intimate, character-filled boutiques hidden within the historic city walls, or spacious, modern properties just outside the center. If you want a quintessential local experience, my top pick is B&B Barberia , a highly rated boutique stay right in the heart of the historic piazza, known for its flawless charm and local hospitality.

Central Boutique & Historic Gems

If you want to step out of your door and immediately stroll along canals or under frescoed arcades, stay inside the city walls:

A beautifully rustic 3-star property featuring exposed wooden beams and antique furniture. It is located near the ancient San Tomaso gate and provides a very traditional, warm atmosphere.

A relaxed 4-star hotel sitting directly on one of Treviso’s scenic waterways. It offers traditional Italian architecture at a fraction of Venice prices, complete with a casual cafe terrace.

A sleek, quiet, and exceptionally modern bed and breakfast hidden in a central alleyway, highly praised for its friendly hosts and stylish surrounding cafes.

Luxury & Countryside Retreats

For travelers looking to relax in the Venetian countryside with more space and upscale amenities:

A stunning, completely restored 1680 Villa Veneta. Located about a 10-minute drive from the center, it delivers true luxury, manicured gardens, and a peaceful swimming pool.

Located in nearby Ponzano Veneto, this 4-star oasis features massive rooms, powerful air conditioning, a pool, and an on-site spa—ideal for escaping the summer heat.

Modern Comfort & Transit Convenience

If you are traveling for business or have an early flight, this large 4-star design hotel is located just 5 minutes from Treviso Canova Airport. While the industrial neighborhood lacks historic charm, it compensates with modern, massive rooms, a wellness spa, and an excellent wine bar.
