Monte Livata

---

If by “best” you mean the strongest combination of guest reviews, location, and amenities, these are the places I’d look at around Monte Livata. Note that Monte Livata has relatively few traditional hotels; many of the highest-rated options are apartments, cabins, and mountain retreats.

My shortlist

• Hotel Livata Mountain Wellness - best for a hotel + wellness experience. It’s a 4-star property in Livata, with restaurant, bar, garden and wellness facilities. Current Booking.com guest score is 9.0/10 from 263 reviews, and recent 2026 Tripadvisor reviews praise the renovated rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, restaurant and spa.
• Casa nel Bosco - best for a private mountain stay. Located right in the Campo dell'Osso/Monte Livata area, it currently scores 9.6/10 from 52 reviews. It sounds particularly suitable if you want a forest setting and more space than a conventional hotel.
• Livata - Campo dell'Osso…nel bosco a 1.700 metri - best for being immersed in nature. It has a 9.4/10 score from 90 reviews, and guest comments specifically mention the recent renovation, good equipment, fireplace/firewood and garage.
• Rifugio La Veranda - good small, cozy option. It has a 9.3/10 score, although that's based on only 7 reviews, so the rating is less established than the larger properties.
• Rifugio della Bandita - good rustic mountain-retreat choice. It's actually in Livata and currently scores 8.4/10, though based on only 5 reviews.
• Campaegli Resort - worth considering if you don't mind staying a little farther away. It's about 6 km from Monte Livata and has an 8.6/10 score from 183 reviews, with a restaurant, bar, garden and fitness center.

For a couple's getaway, I'd particularly look at Hotel Livata Mountain Wellness if you want comfort and spa facilities, or Casa nel Bosco if you want a more secluded woodland experience.

If you tell me your dates, number of people, and approximate budget per night, I can check the current options and narrow it down to the most suitable stays.
