If you mean Nicolosi, Sicily, these are some of the strongest options based on current guest ratings, location, and facilities:

• Criu Boutique Hotel - stylish boutique hotel in town; Booking.com currently shows 9.3/10 from 265 reviews. Good choice if you want design, restaurants nearby, and easy access to Etna.
• Corsaro Etna Hotel & SPA - particularly convenient for Mount Etna excursions, with a spa and restaurant. Booking.com lists it at 9.0/10.
• Mōn Luxury Rooms - Spa - a more luxurious, modern option with an outdoor pool and spa; 9.0/10 on Booking.com.
• Blanc Maison Etna - Relais & Charme - attractive choice for a quieter, romantic stay, with mountain views and wellness facilities; 9.0/10 on Booking.com.
• Rifugio Sapienza - the standout for being right on Etna: it's next to the cable-car departure point. Booking.com gives it 8.5/10 from more than 2,000 reviews.
• Hotel Villa Michelangelo - a more traditional hotel option in Nicolosi, with a pool and restaurant.

For a first visit, I'd focus on three different styles: Criu for a boutique stay in Nicolosi, Mōn for spa/luxury, or Rifugio Sapienza if Etna itself is the main purpose of the trip.

If you give me your dates, number of guests, and approximate budget per night, I can narrow these down to the best currently available options.

Nicolosi (at the southern foot of Mount Etna in Sicily) has a mix of boutique hotels, spa properties, and highly rated B&Bs rather than large luxury resorts. The best options stand out for location (easy Etna access), cleanliness, staff, and amenities like pools or spas. Ratings below draw from recent Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and similar sources (typically 9.0+ / 10 or 4.7+ / 5).

Top Recommendations

Here are some of the strongest current picks:

• MòN Luxury Rooms SPA (4-star)
Frequently ranks among the top. Modern rooms, outdoor (saltwater) pool, spa facilities, garden/terrace, bar, and restaurant noted for excellent food (including pizza from an award-winning chef). Guests praise the quiet setting near Etna, cleanliness, views, and attentive staff (e.g., hosts like Sebastiano). Booking scores around 9.0 (hundreds of reviews). Good base with a more upscale feel.

• Criu Boutique Hotel
Contemporary boutique style with garden, shared lounge, restaurant/bar, and strong breakfast. Highly rated for comfort, staff, cleanliness, and family-friendliness (easy parking, quiet yet convenient location). Booking scores often 9.3–9.5; TripAdvisor around 4.8. Excellent if you want a polished stay without going all the way up the volcano.

• Corsaro Etna Hotel & SPA
Unique standout: the highest hotel on Etna (around 2,000 m / 6,500+ ft in the UNESCO park), just a short walk from the cable car/Rifugio Sapienza area for crater excursions and winter sports. Spa (sauna, steam/Turkish bath, jacuzzi), restaurant, and panoramic views. Booking ~9.0 (500+ reviews); TripAdvisor ~4.7 and often ranked #1 among Nicolosi hotels. Ideal if your priority is proximity to the volcano itself (rather than the town center).

• Althea Etna Garden

Hosts (e.g., Ruben) get strong praise for helpfulness with Etna plans and parking. Scores typically 9.1–9.4. Great balance of quality, location, and price.

Other Strong Options

• Hotel Alle Pendici — Solid mid-range with professional service, good breakfast, and reliable reviews (~9.0). Convenient for the area.
• Highly rated B&Bs such as B&B Sotto il Vulcano (long-time favorite for warm hospitality and breakfast), La Rena Rossa, B&B Fiori di Lava, or Blanc Maison Etna Relais & Charme — often score 9.0+ and offer personal service, gardens, or spa elements at more modest prices.

Quick Tips

• Location note: Town-center or lower-slope properties (MòN, Criu, Althea) are convenient for dining and exploring Nicolosi/Catania area. Corsaro is better for direct Etna access (higher altitude, cooler, more “on the volcano”).
• Most places emphasize free Wi-Fi, parking (sometimes garage/private), and helpful staff for organizing Etna tours or transfers. Many are family- or couple-oriented with outdoor spaces.
• Prices fluctuate by season (higher in summer/peak Etna season); expect roughly €70–150+ per night for quality options, with luxury/spa higher. Check current reviews and availability on Booking.com or TripAdvisor, as small properties can fill quickly.
• Pair a stay with Etna activities (cable car, guided hikes, Silvestri craters) — many hotels assist with bookings or discounts.

For the absolute latest rates and availability, search the property names directly on major booking sites, as rankings shift with new reviews. Enjoy the Etna views!
