Arabba

---

If you mean the best-regarded hotels actually in Arabba, rather than nearby Alta Badia/Val Gardena, these are the ones I’d put on a shortlist based on current guest ratings, location, and ski access:

• Hotel Alpenrose - Best all-around choice. A highly rated 4-star hotel with a strong reputation for its wellness facilities, food, rooms, and service. Booking currently shows a 9.4/10 guest score.
• Sporthotel Arabba - Best for skiing + upscale feel. It has ski-to-door access from the Burz slopes, a hot tub, and panoramic Dolomite views; Booking shows 9.1/10.
• Mesdì Hotel - Best for ski access + spa. Very close to Porta Vescovo and particularly convenient if skiing is your priority. Current Booking guest score is 9.4/10.
• Hotel Garni Marilena - Best smaller/homely option. Particularly strong guest feedback; Booking lists it at 9.5/10 with praise for cleanliness, location, staff and breakfast.
• Hotel Garni Serena - Best for a more intimate ski stay. Tripadvisor currently lists it among Arabba's leading ski-in/ski-out properties, with 4.9/5 from roughly 135 reviews.
• Hotel Portavescovo - Best for convenience. It's right in the center and about 100 m from the Sella Ronda lifts, with a pool, sauna, steam room and ski storage.
• Hotel Malita - A well-established central option, particularly worth considering if you want to be close to Arabba's restaurants and lifts.

If I were narrowing it down

Hotel	Particularly suited to
Hotel Alpenrose	⭐ High-end all-round stay
Sporthotel Arabba	🎿 Skiing + upscale
Mesdì Hotel	🎿 Skiing + wellness
Garni Marilena	🏔️ Smaller, highly rated stay
Garni Serena	⛷️ Ski-in/ski-out
Portavescovo	📍 Central location + spa

For a first trip to Arabba, I'd focus on Hotel Alpenrose, Sporthotel Arabba, and Mesdì Hotel. They give you somewhat different versions of the Arabba experience rather than simply being interchangeable hotels.

If you tell me your dates, number of people, and whether you're skiing or hiking, I can narrow these down by price, ski-in/ski-out access, spa, food, and location.

🔑 Key Considerations

• Location: Blizzard Apartments are right in Arabba, ideal for ski access. Hotels like Gardena Grödnerhof and Granbaita are in Val Gardena, a short drive but with more luxury options.
• Atmosphere: Choose Blizzard Apartments for independence, Granbaita Dolomites for a classic alpine hotel feel, or Gardena Grödnerhof for refined luxury.
• Budget vs. Luxury: Prices vary widely — Granbaita offers excellent value, while Aman Rosa Alpina is ultra-luxury.

---

⚠️ Risks & Trade-offs

• High-season demand: Arabba is part of the Sellaronda ski circuit, so hotels book out quickly in winter. Advance booking is essential.
• Price differences: Luxury hotels (Ciasa Salares, Aman Rosa Alpina) are significantly more expensive than local B&Bs or apartments.
• Location trade-off: Staying in Val Gardena or San Cassiano offers more amenities but requires driving to Arabba’s ski lifts.

---

✅ Recommendation:

• For best value in Arabba itself: Blizzard Apartments (modern, central, highly rated).
• For luxury spa & dining nearby: Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa.
• For authentic alpine hotel experience: Hotel Granbaita Dolomites.

Arabba (in the Dolomites, Italy, part of the Arabba-Marmolada ski area and Sella Ronda circuit) is a compact, authentic alpine village with strong skiing and hiking appeal. The best hotels are mostly 3- and 4-star properties focused on location near lifts, good food, wellness facilities, and mountain views rather than ultra-luxury 5-star resorts (those are more common in nearby Corvara or Alta Badia).

Here are some of the consistently highest-rated and most recommended options based on recent guest reviews from Tripadvisor, Booking.com, and similar sites:

Top Picks

• Hotel Evaldo (4-star)
Frequently ranks among the highest-rated. Central/quiet location with easy access to lifts (shuttle often available), excellent food (local and regional cuisine), strong spa/wellness (indoor pool, multiple saunas), spacious clean rooms, and very friendly family-run service. Guest scores often around 9.4–9.5/10 on Booking and ~4.8/5 on Tripadvisor. Praised for comfort, cleanliness, and overall hospitality.

• Sporthotel Arabba (4-star)
Excellent ski-to-door / near-lift access (Burz slopes), panoramic views, good restaurant with local/Veneto cuisine and solid wine selection, hot tub/spa facilities, and spacious rooms. Strong ratings (~9.2/10 on Booking, high Tripadvisor scores). Guests highlight location for skiing/hiking, staff, food, and cleanliness. A popular choice for both winter sports and summer activities.

• Hotel Alpenrose
Very close to the Burz ski elevators (short walk), mountain views from rooms, strong dining (including a Michelin-listed Stube Ladina restaurant noted in some sources), wellness options, and family-run hospitality. High scores (~9.3–9.4/10 on Booking, ~4.7/5 on Tripadvisor with hundreds of reviews). Frequently praised for food quality/variety, staff, cleanliness, and location for skiing or cycling/hiking.

• Grifone Dolomiti Resort (also called Hotel Grifone)
Often tops Tripadvisor traveler rankings for the area. Good facilities including spa/indoor pool, restaurant with extensive wine list, and solid service. Convenient for the Sella Ronda and nearby lifts (near Campolongo Pass area). Strong overall reviews (~4.7/5 on Tripadvisor).

Other Strong Contenders

• Dolomites Base Camp Hotel Olympia — Comfortable rooms with views, spa/wellness (sauna, steam room, outdoor bath), restaurant, and good location. Scores around 9.1/10.
• Hotel Pordoi – Fam. Furgler — Central, family-run, well-regarded for hospitality and value.
• Apartments such as Apartments Mirabell or residences like Residence Aspen score very highly for self-catering options (spacious, clean, well-equipped, great views/location), though they are not full-service hotels.

Tips

• Location matters for skiing: Prioritize properties near the Burz lifts or with ski storage + shuttle for the easiest access to the Arabba-Marmolada and Sella Ronda terrain.
• Many top hotels emphasize half-board (breakfast + dinner) with local Ladin/Italian cuisine, wellness areas, free parking, and mountain views.
• Ratings can vary slightly by season and platform; always check recent reviews and current availability/prices on Booking.com, Tripadvisor, or the official Arabba tourism site, as Arabba is smaller and books up during peak ski season.
• Nearby alternatives in Corvara or Alta Badia offer more luxury options if you’re open to a short transfer while still accessing the same ski area.

For the most up-to-date rates and availability, search directly on Booking.com or Tripadvisor with your travel dates, as prices fluctuate significantly between summer hiking and winter ski seasons.
